Mission
To provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that honors each person's story while creating opportunities for healing, growth, connection, and meaningful change.

Care that adapts to people — not the other way around.
We saw the gaps. We built the bridge.
After years of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across schools, community programs, child welfare systems, legal and court-involved settings, and behavioral health environments, one reality became impossible to ignore—many of the people who need support most often face the greatest barriers to receiving it.
While conversations around mental health have become more common, seeking help is still not easy. And for many people, the challenge doesn't end once they decide to reach out. Access, representation, and meaningful options in care often become the next hurdle, leaving individuals and families struggling to find support that truly meets their needs.
That reality shaped the foundation of Heart to Heart Counseling & Consulting—a practice built on a simple belief: everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care that is responsive, inclusive, and tailored to their reality.
Everyone has a story. This is ours.

Because meaningful care is about more than what happens in the therapy room.
Therapy should adapt to people—not the other way around.

Our goal is not simply to provide therapy — it’s to help people access care that feels relevant, empowering, and connected to the realities they face every day.
From the beginning, we believed meaningful mental health care requires more than providing services. It requires creating options that reflect the realities of the people seeking support — in-person and telehealth, flexible scheduling, careful attention to clinician fit, and real relationships with the schools, providers, and communities our clients move through every day.
Care should meet you where you are — geographically, financially, and practically.
You deserve clinicians who reflect and respect the fullness of who you are.
Life is not a 9-to-5. Scheduling, modality, and pacing should bend to fit it.
Your story, culture, and lived experience belong in the room, not at the door.
You are the expert on your own life. Therapy works in partnership, not from above.
The right relationship is the work. We take fit seriously and adjust when it isn't.
Different seasons of life call for different approaches. Care should adapt with you.
Healing rarely happens alone. We work with families, schools, and community partners.
Everyone deserves a place to feel seen, heard, and supported.
The people we serve are diverse, and the realities they navigate are just as unique. That’s why we intentionally built a team with different perspectives, specialties, experiences, and areas of expertise.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, our goal is simple: to create a place where you feel welcomed, respected, valued, and supported.
We believe meaningful mental health care should be available to everyone—not just those who fit a particular mold, diagnosis, background, or life experience.

Care begins with understanding the person, not just the problem.
Our approach begins by understanding the person, not just the concern that brought them to therapy. We take time to understand what is happening in their life, the strengths they bring, the challenges they are navigating, and the goals they hope to achieve. Together, we identify priorities, address barriers, and determine the approach, support, and resources that will be most meaningful and effective.
With those priorities in mind, treatment is guided by evidence-based practices that help individuals build the skills, supports, and strategies needed to navigate everyday life with greater confidence and resilience. Whether the work involves processing past experiences, developing new skills, strengthening relationships, or navigating current challenges, we strive to create a supportive environment where individuals feel safe to be themselves, explore their experiences, and grow at their own pace.
Our goal is for clients to leave therapy with greater insight, practical tools, stronger support systems, and the confidence to continue moving forward long after therapy ends.

Why we exist. The future we're building.
To provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that honors each person's story while creating opportunities for healing, growth, connection, and meaningful change.
A future where healing, growth, and meaningful transformation are accessible to every individual, empowering them to step fully into who they are meant to be.
The way we show up matters — both inside and outside the therapy room.
We believe in helping individuals recognize their strengths, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward the life they deserve.
We approach every person with empathy, respect, and genuine care, creating a safe and supportive environment for healing.
We celebrate individuality and foster an environment where people from all backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and free to be themselves.
We encourage continuous growth for both clients and clinicians, supporting learning, progress, and personal development at every stage.
We uphold the highest ethical standards, practicing with honesty, transparency, and accountability.
We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care and continually strengthening our knowledge and skills to better serve those we support.
We recognize the impact of trauma and provide responsive, informed care that prioritizes safety, healing, and resilience.

Because healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and supported.Heart to Heart.
